Stressing the importance of talking to their doctor in the first instance rather than leaving it until it becomes a major problem.

Gloucester Prostate Support group has invited Helene O’Neill, a motivational speaker talk about all sorts of medical issues both physical and mental in an open forum for men and women.
Helene O’Neill was diagnosed with cancer eight years ago. Since then, she has been a consumer representative for the Australia and New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group, who gave her an Award for Outstanding Services to Cancer.
Ms O’Neill is a former Newcastle City councillor with a Bachelor of Education in English and History and a Masters of Educational Studies. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Management and a Diploma of Religious Education.
Helene is currently employed as a Parish-Family Liaison Officer with the Diocese of Maitland and Newcastle. She has a keen sporting interest and currently sits on the board of Northern NSW Football.
Helene will be speaking and answering questions on Saturday, September 3 at the CWA Hall Church Street at 1:30pm.
