The junior season will get underway on Saturday, October 15, one week later than usual due to the school holidays, with Milo, Kanga and Under 14’s starting on that day. Under 16’s have again been registered in the Manning competition and will play in Taree, Forster, Old Bar, Wingham as well as playing in Gloucester.
Milo cricket is aimed at the 5 to 7 year olds with a focus on skills in a game structure. Kanga, or under10’s, play a modified game using all the protective gear on a synthetic wicket and Under 14’s play a limited over game on a turf wicket.
There will be two registration days, the first on Thursday, September 15 at 3:30 p.m. at the nets at No.2 oval and the second day will be Saturday 24 on Church Street, Gloucester.
