Play could have gone either way throughout the first half as possession was constantly being turned over with strong defence and attack from both sides.
Tempers flared early which saw players from either side being sent off as both sides struggled to maintain possession.
With twenty minutes down on the clock in the first half however, a forced penalty led to a short corner to the Panthers.
Mark Coombes capitalised on the advantage and made a solid shot straight through the keeper's pads.
Play continued with the same intensity throughout the remaining first half, again with another Panther’s player sidelined.
Although both sides came out strongly in the second half, it was clear that the Wolves were wearing quickly.

Final score, 1-0 to the Gloucester Panthers.
