Since 2013 Chris has been the high performance manager for Equestrian Australia, which includes being the Chef d' mission for the Australian equestrian team and the equestrian team leader for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Taking Chris to both games for the first time.
Chris said the difference between the Olympic and Paralympic Games was quite remarkable.
“The Olympics Games was about performance and delivering on our targets set”
“Paralympians have suffered adversity in their everyday lives and to observe them as athletes in the highest competition in the world is extremely inspirational to say the least,” he said
“It is truly a special time and I have been honoured to be a part of it as well as been part of a medal team.”
Before joining Equestrian Australia, Chris worked in rugby union as a team manager and general manager from 2000 to 2012, with the Waratahs, the Wallabies and the Western Force.
