On Tuesday, October 4 in Coolongolook, Jeremy will run through detailed practical aspects of breeding and applying beneficial microbes on the farm.
“The use of microbes is the way of the future” Jeremy said.
“As agricultural inputs keep increasing in cost, it makes more and more sense to make your own biological supplements to make better use of what you have.”
Brought to you by Karuah and Great Lakes Landcare with the support of Hunter Local Land Services, this free workshop on ‘Do It Yourself Biological Supplements’ will feature live demonstrations of aerated compost tea brewing and ekihi Fermentation. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Back in April, Coolongolook was treated to a well-received presentation from, with ‘Champagne Soil on a Beer Budget’.
Participants were inspired to make better use of the free services provided by the myriad living things in their farm soils, and requested to learn more on the practical application of biological farming principles.
