It's past noon on the kind of grizzly day that panic-room expert Tim Firth rather enjoys, as we sit in a cheery restaurant in Surry Hills watching dark clouds gather outside. Where I see double-parked delivery vans and hipsters scampering in the rain, he spies hazards around every corner.
