Images featured in The Sun, The Daily Express and The Daily Mail prompted some to question whether the unaccompanied minors - who it is said are between 14 and 17 - really are teenagers.
On Friday's front page The Sun called for respected football pundit Gary Lineker to be fired, calling him "jug-eared" and a "leftie luvvie", and accusing him of "peddling lies",
The Sun pounced after Lineker tweeted "the treatment by some towards these young refugees is hideously racist and utterly heartless. What's happening to our country?" this week.

It comes the same day as sacked The Sun undercover reporter Mazher Mahmood was jailed for 15 months after being found guilty of tampering with evidence in a collapsed drug trial.
It now appears many Brits have had enough of the Murdoch tabloid, tweeting #dontbuythesun and urging others to jump on the boycott bandwagon.
