The Variety Postie Dash stopped by Gloucester Public School for breakfast on Friday, November 4 on their way through town.

While they were there, they donated $1750 to the Gloucester Parents and Citizens Association to help buy new sport uniforms from the Uniform Shop.
The school was able to get 73 light weight jerseys, all the same, that can be worn by any of their representative sports teams, including football, basketball and netball.
It was day six of the dash which consists of more than 25 Honda CT110 Postie bike riders travelling through outback NSW over six days to raise money for children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
“The Variety Postie Dash is a unique and fun adventure that takes riders off the beaten track travelling through the bush and countryside, stopping in rural communities and visiting some wonderful small and disadvantaged schools along the way,” Variety – the Children’s Charity regional director, Jason Bourke said.
