With Blue ranked in first place and Silver in second, the match didn't disappoint the spectators.
The game was played on Monday, November 28, instead of the normal Wednesday night, due to a high school excursion that would have seen most of the players missing.
Blue started off in fine form, pulling ahead in the first quarter with a seven point lead at 14 – 7.
The evenly match teams both worked hard throughout the next two quarters to dominate the game.
Silver lost a little bit of ground but managed to hold their lead in the second quarter with a score of 24 – 17.
The third quarter saw Silver pull further leading 36-23 at the bell.
The final quarter was a tough battle but Silver was determined to keep the gap and take first place.
Final result was 45 – 34.
After the game, the Gloucester and District Netball Association held their presentation ceremony.
Trophies were given to the first and second placed teams, as well as, individual awards.
Most improved player was awarded to Olivia Corbett and Robyn Beggs.
The encouragement award was presented to Jess Anniwell and Casey Gooch.
Most valuable player through point score total for the year, across both competitions was awarded to Jenna Davis.
The next twilight competition starts on Wednesday, February 22.
