That's what Meakan Kellner and Hayden Wall have decided to do; they are packing up and taking their show on the road.
Both are musicians with a plan to gig their way around the country.
It’s an opportunity to focus on creating their own music, something they haven’t had much time to do while they have been working.
Hayden has given up his job in the mines and Meakan has recently completed her chef apprenticeship, so now it's time to hit the open road.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Hayden said.
“Now that we are both finished work we’ll have time to work on the music.”
Too Busy Livin’, the name they perform under, have been playing together since Christmas 2015.
They’ll be traveling around the country for at least the next 12 months, working and playing music along the way.
The plan is to line up shows in some of the towns they will be passing through.
In order to make this happen, they’ll email ahead to potential venues, let them know when they will be in town and offer to send them a demo.
With no major plans, they’ll just see how things go.
Last June, Hayden and Meakan bought a caravan, around about the same time they decided they were going to head out on the road trip, and they have been living in it ever since.
They had to get rid of a few belongings in order to make the move, but have held on to the most important things.
“The equipment fits perfectly under the bed,” Meakan explained.
“Just,” she smiled
They’ve got two guitars, a drum, speakers and a sound system, not to mention the dirt bike and boat they’ll be taking with them.
First stop is the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Meakan has never been and wants to see what it’s all about.
Their decision to hit the open road came after a difficult 2016, which had the couple attending four funerals in two months.
Too Busy Livin’ played a farewell gig at the Avon Valley Inn on January 2.
