The Gloucester artist said the show is a collection of the body of works she has been building up over the past two years.
"There are times in your life when you can take a moment to reflect on the wonders of what you see,” Jean said when talking about the theme of the show.
“Some of these things are repeated from time to time but some are just one-offs."
So she is using art to focus on some of these moments.
The paintings reflect various situations or moments on water, some are reflective landscapes portraying just the energy and colours of images reflecting onto water either deep rivers or the shallows of the oceans or even a secluded corner of a dam with lilies or birds.
Mainly painting Plein Air, Jean works in watercolour, porcelain, oils or acrylic.
The show runs from Thursday, March 30, until Sunday, April 23, with the official opening on at 7pm Friday, March 31.
