Now they are preoccupied with giving us back the right to hurt, offend and humiliate others on the grounds of their race.
How many of us feel Gloucester would be a better place if we were allowed to openly and deliberately offend and humiliate people of colour?
Most Australians would prefer that they focussed on real and pressing issues like their hopeless lack of planning for secure power supplies. The Snowy Mountains idea warms the hearts of older Aussies like me, but the fine print shows it's a mere thought bubble like some of Gillard’s and Abbott’s thought bubbles.
According to the ABS someone who works one hour a week is counted as employed. In February 2017 there were 17 job seekers for every one vacancy.
Department of Employment Feb 2017 figures state:
Total jobseekers 279,800
Total vacancies 167,800
The Government boasts that the workforce has increased due to their good management. It has increased, but mostly part time jobs and by less than the increase in the population.
Meantime the national deficit grows every day while our pollies have their snouts in the trough and wave lumps of coal around in parliament.
Has the government any ideas or vision for our society in the face of increasing inequality, automation, inadequate power supplies, and climate change?
