A man is in a critical condition after his semi-trailer crashed west of Gloucester on Saturday night (March 25).

About 11pm, a semi-trailer was travelling east on Thunderbolts Way, about 50 kilometres from Gloucester at Bretti, when it rolled.
The driver, a 46-year-old man, was trapped for more than two hours before being released.
Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to the scene but was unable to land due to fog. It landed at Gloucester Soldiers Memorial Hospital where police transported the medical crew to the scene.
The driver was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition arriving at 4:15am.
Officers from Manning/Great Lakes Local Area Command have started an investigation into the crash.
Inquiries are continuing.
