With the start of the season fast approaching, Gloucester Soccer Club got into the football spirit by hosting an ALDI MiniRoos School Football Festival for over 100 children in years three and four.
Year six students also attended as team leaders for the teams, as well as referees for the ALDI MiniRoos matches.
Six schools participated: Gloucester Public School, Stroud Public School, Booral Public School, Barrington Public School, Stratford Public School and St Joseph’s Primary School.
Students were divided up into 17 and play over 45 matches, where they learned soccer skills from a Northern NSW Football Miniroos development officer.
