This concert is the culmination of a weekend called Singing at the Monastery and will feature the Singing at the Monastery Singers, local choirs The Gloucester Singers and Stroud Crowd, plus soloists and more.
Funds raised will go to support the Tucker Patch in Gloucester and afternoon tea will be available for all.
“We love finishing our weekend of singing with a concert and we are especially happy to support local causes,” co-leader of the Singing at the Monastery weekend, Suze Pratten said.
“We would love as many as possible to come and enjoy the music and support the work of the Tucker Patch in the beautiful surrounds of the Old Monastery,” she said.
Members of the public are invited to come a little earlier at 12.30pm and learn the Concert Finale song.
“At this workshop we learn a song in record time and then all take to the stage at the end of the concert to sing it – it’s a load of fun,” Suze said.
All are welcome, entry is by coloured note donation.
