The highlight of the workshop will be the practically-based session ‘Introduction to Livestock Data Link (LDL)’, so bring along your laptop or tablet and work on your own data. If you do not have a laptop or tablet a small number of spare computers will be available to borrow on the day.
The program includes:
Wingham Beef Exports (WBE) – meet the WBE team.
Using Livestock Data Link in your business and understanding grids, with an introduction by Demi Lollback, MLA value chain relationship manager, and a practical session with Jonty Hemmingway, WBE livestock and production assistant.
Plant tour.
Local Land Services vet – Current issues and improving health for carcase compliance.
AUS-MEAT Ltd Ben Robinson – What is the AUS-MEAT language?
Meat Standards Australia (MSA) Jarrod Lees – Carcase attributes and eating quality … why?
The day starts at 8.30am for registration with tea and coffee and the workshop will run from 9am to 3.30pm with morning tea and lunch provided.
Participants must be registered for LDL prior to the workshops.
