Despite having accidentally blown the fuse on the nearby electrical pole, members of the Gloucester Returned and Services League (RSL) Sub branch managed to forge ahead with the ceremony.
Members of the community paid their respects to the soldiers, both past and present, as they raise their voices together reciting Anzac hymns.
As the sun broke through the clouds, the crowd stood for the last post and a moment of silence.
Sub branch member, Bob Hewett said they were very pleased with the turnout this year. They had set out 200 chairs and the crowd spill out far beyond the seats.
