SMART is an acronym for Science, Maths And Real Technology which delivers interactive science shows and workshops for schools.
Presenter, Nathan Burke explained to the students about how to program a robot by learning how to speak its language.
A little robot called Andy showed off his dance moves for the crowd and clapped his hands in response to the students.
They learned about Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how a robot or a machine can think and learn like human.
The session ended with Nathan flying a drone in front of the students.
Science and Engineering regional chair, John Walton organised the visit ahead of the Science and Engineering Challenge due to kick off later this week.
