Fairfax Media understands the trio was located in the Allyn River area just before 11.30am on Thursday.
Police say early reports indicate all three are unharmed.

A search is underway for three people missing north-west of Dungog.
Police have been told a 75-year-old man and two women, aged 44 and 70, left their home in Cardiff about 11am on Wednesday to drive to a property in the Upper Allyn River area, about 45 kilometres north-west of Dungog.
When they failed to arrive home, family members began searching for them about 8pm.
Police from Central Hunter Local Area Command were alerted a short time later.
An extensive search of surrounding roads and camping grounds continued throughout the night; however, there has been no sign of the three at this time.
The search resumed on Thursday morning and involves local police, assisted by police riding trail bikes, and SES volunteers.
The group was travelling in a silver 2004-model Commodore sedan with NSW registration, AG16KU.
Police and family have serious concerns for the well-being of the group as they have a number of medical issues.
Anyone who may have seen the car or the group should call Triple-0 immediately.
