The annual Veterans Week of Golf tee’d off in Gloucester on this morning (May 22), despite the rain soaked course.

67 players from the Upper Hunter, Manning and Central Coast have come to town to enjoy the three days of competition that takes place over five days; with a day of rest on Wednesday and a team tournament on Friday.

An additional event, the Chipping Competition, is also held over the three days, where players get a chance to chip four balls and earn points, target style, based on how close they get to the pin.
