FFN chair, Dan Korff said FFN believes in the future of rural and remote communities.
“We live and breathe the work of the members we support and it is vital we have eyes and ears throughout rural and regional Australia.”
“As it stands we have board members based all over Australia. We provide a voice for young people in agriculture while also providing a unique platform for 18-35 year old farmers to engage among one another, relocating to a regional area will ensure we understand exactly how we can best support these young people,” Mr Korff continued.
To celebrate the relocation, FFN have partnered with Seftons, a national communications agency specialising in the agribusiness sector, in a shared office arrangement. Similar to FFN, Seftons understands country Australia, taking a leadership role in the bush and encourage a vibrant future for all people living and working in rural and regional Australia.
Seftons founder and managing director, Robbie Sefton said they are thrilled to partner with FFN.
“Seftons worked on many projects to communicate important economic, social and environmental messages to both urban and rural and regional audiences.
“We have a long standing and successful partnership with FFN, having worked with them on a number of national programs for young people in agriculture. We are excited that such an important organisation such as FFN is decentralising and we are looking forward to assisting them to grow their network,” Mr Sefton said.
FFN is Australia’s only national network that represents young people working in the agriculture industry.
It covers all aspects of the industry including those who work on farms to remote stations; stock and station agents; commodity traders; and those from banking and industry support roles located in our major cities.
The network has been operating since 2002 and provides members with access to the latest news, events, scholarships, awards and information from across all aspects of the agricultural sector.
