Registrations for the conference went live a fortnight ago, with companies across the aged care sectors encouraged to not only attend, but also be an exhibitor at the conference.
“We have had strong interest and registrations from both carers and service providers so far,” Omnicare Alliance joint CEO John Carroll said.
“I think the conference will speak to a wide range of people within the industry and community interested in helping to support people living with dementia to live well with dementia,”
There are three exhibition options at the conference including a package which entitles the organisation to bring two attendees to the conference.
A standard size stand is available for $100, a larger spaced size stand $120 and an exhibitor package is $550.
Early bird registrations close June 16. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to register prior to June 16, to save $50 on each registration.
The RED Conference will provide a regional perspective on the work being done around dementia and dementia care, with attendees to hear from experts and specialists from overseas and Australia on practical hands on approaches to dementia care.
The program will cover a wide variety of topics to suit all, including people living with dementia, carers, service providers, care staff, field workers, clinicians and the community.
The Port Macquarie-Hastings, Myall Lakes and Tweed Heads electoral districts all feature in the top three dementia prevalence rates in NSW state electoral districts.
