Richards family welcomes visitors to their stud at McCully's Gap this Saturday

​Upper Hunter stud cattle breeders Paul and Lyn Richards are part of the Northern Beef Week and will be opening their property on Saturday, July 1 from 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Their property is located at 1661 Sandy Creek Road, McCully's Gap.

On display will be a selection of their breeding herd, sale bulls and their highly successful 2017 show team. The Richards operate the Leven Santa Gertrudis and the Rouchelle Murray Grey studs. Bulls and females will be available for purchase on the day.

Participating in Northern Beef Week allows us to promote our cattle and our breeding program and it  also allows us to build stronger relationships with fellow breeders in the area, said Lyn Richards. “We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our farm,” she said.

For breeders who are interested in cross breeding,they will have a number of Murray Grey x Santa calves on display. Morning tea and lunch will be available. .
