A new bench made of native timber has been dedicated in Gloucester District Park to the memory of Guy Ahern. The Gloucester Environment Group commissioned the bench in recognition of Guy’s valuable contribution to the Rivercare project. Members of the group spoke of the help Guy had been to the project as well as to individuals, generously sharing his knowledge of tree propagation and weed eradication. At the gathering, many of Guy’s family and friends joined to remember him and give thanks for the legacy he has left.
