Set to rock: More artists have been announced for the Akoostik music festival in Wingham from October 13-15. Tickets for camping during the weekend are selling fast.

Camping tickets are selling out fast for Akoostik and organisers have announced more artists will be on the Wingham stage in October.

Minnie Marks, James Bennett, Eagle and the wolf and Josh Needs have been confirmed.

The weekend is shaping up to be a big one with the following acts set to entertain the crowds as well as others:

  • Friday night: Scott Darlow, Josh Needs and Bad Pony
  • Saturday night: Kasey Chambers, Russell Morris and Eurogliders and many more acts through  the day including Twin Peaks (Canada), Minnie Marks and Ralway Bell (WA)
  • Sunday: Killing Heidi’s Ella Hooper, Dom Turner and USA’s Nikki Brown in the Turner Brown Band as well as James Bennett, the Kava Kings, Eagle and the Wolf and Sara Tindley

Bill Chambers perform at the festival opening party on Thursday October 12 at Bent on Food.
