Two people have died after a truck crashed and caught fire 40 kilometres north of Gloucester Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to Thunderbolts Way at Giro, after a southbound truck ran off the roadway and crashed about 4.30am on Thursday, July 20.
It’s believed two people were travelling in the truck at the time; they died at the scene.
They have not been identified.
Police cannot yet confirm what the truck was carrying.
Motorists are advised Thunderbolts Way remains open; however, there is a significant emergency response on-site as forensic officers examine the scene and the salvage operation begins.
