The Gloucester Public School (GPS) choir has done it again, securing a spot in the 34th annual Schools Spectacular 2017 to be held at the Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney in November.

GPS was named among 16 other schools on the North Coast and Mid North Coast as having successfully auditioned for the combined choir, combined dance, D’Arts Ensemble and Aboriginal Dance Ensemble.
Guinness World Record holder Schools Spectacular, which broke the record for largest variety concert in the world last year, is back and better than ever showcasing the best singing and dancing talent from public schools across NSW on Friday, November 24 and Saturday, November 25.
Auditions are continuing for other performers, including bands, orchestras, drama ensembles and schools with representatives who will be announced closer to the event.
Schools Spectacular is a massive co-operative venture as thousands of talented students and their dedicated teachers join with industry professionals to stage an unparalleled entertainment extravaganza of massive proportions.
The televised event will star more than 5700 students, including a choir of 2700 voices, 2400 dancers; a 100-piece symphony orchestra; world-class stage band, 44 solo singers and 145-featured dancers.
GPS students will take their place among the choir as part of this amazing show.
