Gloucester youth, from kindergarten to year seven, are invited for a night of fun, on Friday, August 25 at the Gloucester Soldiers Club auditorium.
The event is held several times a year as a way of promoting community interaction with the local police.
Earlier this year, the Blue Light committee announced a reward card for children who attend the dances throughout the year. If they collect enough stamps, they’ll go into the draw for a major prize at the last disco of the year.
Children who attend this dance will get another stamp on their card, so don’t forget to bring it.
There will also be lucky door prizes on the night.
The disco times are: kindergarten to year two from 5.30pm until 7pm and years three to seven from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
Upcoming events:
The committee is also planning a couple school holiday excursions for the upcoming break.
Events include:
- Battlezone at Maitland Gaol on Wednesday, September 27 for ages eight to 12 years
- Charlestown Square Entertainment Pass on Friday, October 6 for ages 12 years and above
Cost for either event is $50 per person and includes transport. Bookings can be made at the Gloucester Health Foods. There are limited spaces.
