MidCoast Council election 2017 candidates – Group E

Group E – Introducing Troy Fowler and his Liberal team

We are so proud to be the first ever team of Liberal locals for council.

The Liberal endorsement assures you of our values and experience – prudent financial management; policies to ensure respect and safety for all our citizens, particularly the vulnerable; and standing up for hard working people especially the self employed.

However if elected our votes are not directed by any Party – our 100 per cent motivation and loyalty is to our much loved local community.

Troy Fowler, his wife and children live in Forster where he manages a BWS Bottleshop. Troy’s dedication to his customers and famous community engagement has seen the store named Australia’s number one for promotions. He is constantly giving back to community including fundraisers for special causes like Curtis Landers and the Great Lakes Womens Shelter; and cooking the Forster Surf Club BBQ for three years, where Troy was their Member of the Year (2014).

Paul Geraghty has vast experience with 20 years service as a probation and parole officer balancing community welfare and individual rights. He served 10 years on the board of a Credit Union, is a Civil Marriage Celebrant and Lay Funeral Celebrant.

Jim Peters is a retired CEO with a background in managing large complex businesses. He is a well known community activist – a past president of Probus and Forster Keys Progress Association, as well as establishing the Wallis Lake History Club and Wallis Lake Dining Group.

George Jones is a stockbroker and was senior partner of a Sydney firm. His lifelong love of Blueys Beach started with fishing trips with his dad. George and his wife retired to Blueys where they are members of Probus and active in DuneCare.

We offer formidable experience and a safe set of hands to establish a successful MidCoast Council.
