Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called out to Wards River, south of Gloucester on Saturday morning (September 30) after reports of a farm accident.

A 69-year-old man was flown to John Hunter Hospital in Newcatle after he had fallen in a paddock.
It was reported that the man was moving stock around 11.30am when its believed his leg was caught up in a hole.
He was treated by paramedics and the helicopter’s clinical team for hip and leg injuries at the scene.
The man was reported to be in a stable condition.
