Judith Conning has been getting amongst it and earlier this week went out on Forster whale watching boat The Amaroo.
She captured some stunning images of a mother and baby and the young one was taking the opportunity to get in lots of breaching practice.
“The one with the dark belly (in the photo below) is mum - she surprised us all by doing this one and only breach right beside the Amaroo.
“I was just in the right place at the right time. All the other photos are junior getting in plenty of practice and delighting all on the boat.”
