The Bootawa Water Treatment Plant and MidCoast Council’s Laboratory will open to the public at 10am on Wednesday October 25 with guided tours showcasing the treatment plant.
From October 15-21, and MidCoast Water Services’ mascot, Whizzy the Waterdrop, will be visiting preschools, libraries and community events as part of the National Water Week program.
More than 1000 entries in the MidCoast Water Services primary school colouring competition have been received from across the region.
National Water Week runs from October 15-21.
This year's National Water Week theme is ‘Water – the Heart of our Culture’. This theme encourages young people to explore how water shapes our everyday lives through recreational activities, the natural world and our community values.
