Our 2017 champion came from the local ranks with Jamie “Emu” Andrews having a very impressive score of 3 under 69. The week in New Zealand fine tuning his game obviously worked a treat. Congratulations Emu on a brilliant score.
Runner up was young, Reid Brown from Wingham, who had a par round 72.
The Brian “Hairy” Osborne cup was also held in conjunction and Ross Johnson from the Karuah Golf Club was thrilled to have his name on the trophy once again.
His score was 82.
In the C grade Jim Greenham from Stroud won the scratch score with 92.
A great day was had by all and a big thank you to the green staff and all the club members who gave of their time to make the day the huge success that it was.
We would also like to thank the following people and businesses for their generous sponsorship on the day: David and Chun Gates from Gloucester Country Lodge who donated a nights accommodation for two people; Gloucester Advocate; Col Laurie and CalCo Surveyors.
