Gloucester Rifle Club

Returning from our Covid break, in fine conditions on Sunday May 31, at 300 metres in standard fullbore Steve Pennicuik posted a massive 100.8/100 and in free-class fullbore Sean O'Sullivan blazed a ripping 113.6/120 and Stuart Kerr ripped a super 104.4 using 40-year-old std military ammo. In 25 metre rimfire Lance May ripped a super possible 250/250, chased hard by Steve Pennicuik, Laurie Smith, and Sean on 245, 244 and 243. June 14 was washed-out with some brilliant rain, but Sunday June 28 at 500 metres saw Steve post a handy 85.4 and in free-class Stuart ripped a super 107.6. Visitors would normally be very welcome on shoot days, but social-distancing says not for the moment, and enquiries regarding club activities and firearms licensing should be made to Steve Pennicuik on 65582087. A Longarms Firearms Licensing Course is planned for Saturday July 11 - bookings essential. (Sec, P Psaltis 65580910)
