An average of 105mm of rain has fallen in the Manning River catchment in the past 45 hours to noon Saturday. Further rain is forecast for the next 12 to 24 hours.
The rain is expected to cause minor flooding at Gloucester this afternoon (Saturday).
Minor flooding is current along the Manning River at Wingham and Taree.
River levels at Taree have risen higher than previously expected and river height predictions have been raised.
At this stage it is not possible to predict the flood peak because of uncertainty over how much more rain will fall.
With forecast rain the predicted river height of the Gloucester River in Gloucester is expected to reach 4.3m this afternoon with minor flooding.
