The hospital on Nusa Lembongan island in Bali was overwhelmed at the kindness of the people of Gloucester.
The sign, which translated means ‘Thank you Gloucester’, was a small token of the appreciation for the fundraising efforts of locals through the Bandaid for Bali dinner held in town last September.
“Our Bandaid for Bali dinner bought the hospital a blood transfusion machine and the huge donation of medical supplies brought smiles and tears,” dinner organiser Kerry Gardner said.
Kerry travelled to Nusa Lembongan in February to deliver the supplies and meet with staff at the hospital.
