REPORTS are filtering through of snow on the Barrington Tops.

The temperature on the Tops at present is below freezing with winds of up to 20km/h.

A strong cold front is crossing western NSW and has started to move through the south-east, central ranges and central part of the coast.

Those travelling to the Tops are urged to use caution and need to drive to conditions.
