The Gloucester Scorpions junior representative squad of Quinlan, Maddox, Tyler, Connor, Bradley, Harry, Jacob, Blake, Jackson and Harvey played the first game of the annual challenge.
The game was an end to end tussle from start to finish. The large crowd enjoyed the encounter and every member of the squad gave 100 per cent coming away with a 4-1 win.
The second division game between Tea Gardens and Gloucester was an epic battle with both teams playing on the large field.
The score at the end of normal time was nil-all and the two teams headed to extra time.
Both teams dug deep and played some end to end attacking soccer but after an extra five minutes each way the score remained nil-all.
The last match saw the Gloucester senior team stroll to an easy win with the Scorpions taking the trophy for another year.
Thanks to the parents for giving up their Sunday and to Tea Gardens for travelling to Gloucester.
