First up, the Gloucester Cockies will try to keep their season alive with a win against the Wallamba Bulls in the Lower Mid North Coast Rugby Union competition.
Immediately after that game, the Gloucester Magpies will look to cement a finals berth when they take on Abermain in the Newcastle Rugby League D grade competition.
With only four competition rounds remaining, a win for the Cockies would stand them in good stead heading into the crucial clash against Myall Coast Mudcrabs at home next week.
The Cockies hold a slender two point lead over the fifth-placed Mudcrabs, who play cellar dwellers Old Bar this weekend.
The Forster Dolphins are on top of the competition with 50 points ahead of the Manning River Ratz on 46, with both teams already through to the semi finals.
In the rugby league, a win for the Magpies against sixth-placed Abermain would guarantee the side a finals spot with one round of the regular season remaining.
Both Clarence Town and Abermain are three points adrift of the Magpies, who play competition leaders the Williamtown Jets away in their final regular round match of the season next weekend.
A win against Abermain would be the Magpies fourth victory on the trot.
The action begins at 1.30pm at Bert Gallagher Oval with the Cockies taking on Wallamba.
The match between the Magpies and Abermain will follow immediately after.
Full bar and canteen facilities will be available.
