THE Little Athletics season is up and running.

Harrison Clarke broke a 22-year-old little athletics record.

The club has been lucky to have had mild afternoons for all the athletes to enjoy while competing in the various events.

Harrison Clarke has continued his training in the off season with assistance from club coach Julian Schneider.

Harry’s training paid off on the first competition night as he set setting a new club record in the under 15s long jump.

Harry broke a 22-year-old record set by Brett Fraser in 1992 by two centimetres when he jumped 5.27m.

Thanks to all the athletes and parents that have registered or are trialling this season. New families are invited to come along on a Tuesday afternoon at 3.45pm and join in the fun.

Athletes can trial for two consecutive weeks before having to register with the club.
