Attention would be flying cadets - 317 Squadron (City of Taree) Australian Air Force Cadets is conducting its annual recruitment evening on Wednesday February 17 at the Macquarie Barracks in Muldoon Street, Taree commencing at 6pm.

This follows on from a program conducted during 2015 which saw cadets involved in many activities from powered flying and gliding training, field craft activities, white water rafting and ceremonial parades such as Anzac Day and Remembrance Day. There were also two week courses offered by the organisation.
This Defence youth training organisation will suit anyone aged between 13 and 18 years of age who is physically fit and looking towards a Defence based career path. Come along to learn some more and speak with current cadets and staff to see if this is for you.
