Players from the Gloucester District Cricket Association took to the pitch for a bit of Australia Day fun on January 25.
A match up between the under 35s and the over 35 was scheduled for the day, but due to the rain, the Number One Oval was washed out.
So some of the players decided to play on and have a friendly game at the ‘Swimming Pool’ pitch instead.
The ‘boys’ were having a bit of fun taking turns bowling and batting, while rotating around the field.
A few of them dressed up for the occasion in their best ‘Russell Coight’ gear.
Also making its way around the field was a pretty pink jumper.
The rules of that attire was one, not entirely part of the national cricket rule book, but instead one designed for the special game played on Australia Day.
