The NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) have confirmed the fire is currently being controlled as crew monitor the vast area with the firing having burnt 12,799 hectares of land so far.
The NSW RFS have denied reports of any property loss in the area at this stage, including any homesteads or vacant buildings.
Building Impact Assessment teams are continuing to assess all areas affected by fire around the State.
The fire at Howes Creek, Terrell near Wards River has burn 2,836 hectres and also continues to burn.
At the time of print, a spokesperson for NSW RFS said there are 40 active bush or grass fires burning around the State with 11 of those yet to be controlled; none of which are in the Gloucester region.
