There’s the billy cart derby, the dog show, live performances to watch and rides galore.
At 10am the billy cart derby will begin and is free to watch and enter, running all day long.
At 10.30 catch the spoon playing, the little ones will love the idea of replicating this at home so tell them to watch closely for the techniques used on the centre stage.
From 11am the science and engineering competition is on and free for all enthusiasts to enter.
The dog show is fun and free to watch and starts at 12.30pm. Gold coin donation is required to enter your dog or at that time you can visit the centre stage to catch the excitement of the physie display.
The ‘Tin Hare’ heritage train rides run all day and it’s a great way for the children to explore the local history at the festival.
Wood chopping events will be on all day and are also free to watch outside Avon Valley Inn.
Pay to ride the fierce bucking bull outside the Roundabout Inn and there will be plenty of kids rides on all day at Billabong Park where you can pay per ride. With so much to keep them happy and wear them out, head to the annual Chill Out festival.
