It started well for them as the backline kept the Tigers attack in disarray.
The Panthers were the first to score with Callum Howard finishing off a great passing run through the centre from his team mates.
The Tigers launched an attack and, despite some great initial saves from newcomer to the goals, Leon Hook, after the third attempt, they flicked it over his body as he lunged for the ball.
The game remained tight into the second half still at a 1-1 draw until one of the Panthers' players was sent off the field with a yellow card warning.
Down a player, the Tigers took advantage of the numbers and, in the remaining ten minutes, put in a succession of quick goals from some interesting calls.
The final score 1-4.
C grade
The C grade side fared in a very similar manner.
Starting off the game with the first points as Dale Tonks was awarded, and converted, a penalty flick from an in-goal incident.
The Tigers were also quick to respond, levelling the score 1-1 shortly before halftime.
The second half saw one of the Panthers being red-carded for the remainder of the match.
Already short a player, the numbers again worked for the Tigers as they took control of the match scoring two more goals in the second half finishing with a win 3-1.
Next week, B grade comes up against Taree West while C grade plays against Chatham.
With a only a five rounds remaining, C grade is in a comfortable position 2nd on the leaderboard. B grade however will utilise their remaining time to learn what they can in the higher grade for next season.
