Special guests were the Mid North Group President, Margaret Breust, and International Officer, Penny Britton.
Gloucester Public School Choir squeezed into a small space to sing two songs before the Guest Speaker, Sally Martin, was introduced.
Sally and her husband, Dr Col, have been working with The Leprosy Mission in Nepal, returning each year since 2008. Her slides and interesting stories gave an excellent insight into the life and culture of the people of Nepal.
The tasty meal served was Dal Bhat with Rice, Chutney, Momos and Naan Bread, followed by Raspberry Fool.
Congratulations to both branch officers and their helpers for an excellent day.
