MidCoast Council election 2017 candidates – Susan Walker

Susan Walker.

Susan Walker.

Susan Walker – Ungrouped

Susan Walker has been involved with community services for more than 13 years.

My involvement has been as a volunteer mainly with Community Transport and Meals, also with Rural Fire Service in Firecom for over several years.

During this time I have worked in retail and tourism and been a member of Rotary as their first lady. My role as a Justice of the Peace has shown me the uniqueness of the members of our community.

My commercial experience in small business and corporate has covered general and trust accounting, the importance of customer service and the duties of being a director.

The reasons for running as an independent candidate (ungrouped) are that this new council area will require very calm efficient management.

The aged care and disability services, youth employment, our diverse businesses and our cultural and tourist activities will be my priorities for all residents to partake of and hopefully enjoy their future prosperity.
