Quota International of Gloucester and Gloucester Pharmacy have packed up another load of “survival packs” for the Bucketts Way Neighbourhood Centre.

This three year partnership has seen many packs created and distributed to victims of domestic violence in the Gloucester community.
The “survival packs” are made up of essential toiletry items, like shampoo, soap. toothpaste and toothbrushes for men and women who leave home with nothing.
Quota approached the pharmacy will a sum of money to buy items for the bags and the pharmacy matched the contribution.
Not only that, but pharmacy owner, Li Meng Wong has spent time filling individual bottles with products for each bag, with most bags handmade by Quota members.
“We’d like to thank Li for all her hard work,” Quota member, Val Pritchard said.
The bags were loaded up and transport to the BWNG where people in need can access them, along with other services and assistance for people in domestic violence or emergency situations.
Quota and Gloucester Pharmacy are putting a call out to anyone in the community who stays in a hotel, to bring any of the unused complementary toiletry items to either the pharmacy at 43 Church Street or the Majestic Family Store at 30 Church Street. They are also looking for any unwanted cosmetic bags. All these items can assist the group put the packs together.
