Clubs represented were Port Macquarie, Taree, Forster and Gloucester.
Games are played in four divisions: platinum, gold, silver and bronze. Courts are double-banked and games played over two and a half hours, the winner in each division being best of three games. Unfortunately, numbers in each division were down this year.
Platinum division was won by Ray Vize of Forster over Robin Shenton, Port Macquarie.
Gold division winner was Archie McCulloch from Taree over Graham Innocent, Forster.
Silver division had three contestants: Sue Shenton from Port Macquarie, Paddy Stevens from Gloucester and Penny Jude from Forster. Penny Jude was the winner of this division.
In bronze division, there were only two contestants, Katrina Strick of Taree and Carol Dwyer of Gloucester.
Each had a win on the Friday with a play-off on Saturday, the winner being Carol.
Congratulations Carol - she has only been playing Association since the beginning of the year.
Thanks go to Bridget Earle from Port Macquarie who came to assist Paddy with referring.
Thanks also must go to our greenkeeper Ken Garland and Al Minis and his team for the excellent presentation of the courts and surrounds.
Our club received many favourable comments from our visitors.
Next club competition will be the golf croquet Beaton Shield.
This is handicapped singles played over two days November 17 and 18. Names on sheet in clubhouse please.
