Gloucester Arts and Cultural Council Inc (GACCI) present the 2017 pantomime ‘Babes in the Bush’, opening soon.
This family-friendly production is being brought to the stage by a mix of new and experienced GACCI Players who have been working hard in preparation of the upcoming performance.
‘Babes in the Bush’ is the traditional tale of two children, Pip and Penny, who are abandoned in Barrington bush, which has been mixed with the classic story of Robin Hood and his Merry Men, and twisted into an hilarious play for all to enjoy.
The evening is designed for the audience to participate, as they are actively encouraged to call out to the actors on stage.
The show opens on Friday, November 24 from 7pm, with a performance on Saturday, November 25 from 7pm and a matinee on Sunday, November 26 from 1pm at the Gloucester Citizens Centre on Hume Street.
Tickets are now on sale for $20 per person (non-GACCI members), $15 per person (GACCI members) and $10 per person (17 years and under) and can be purchased at Gloucester Health Foods on Church Street, over the phone from on 0425 203 877 or at the door.
You can bring your own nibbles and drinks, however a few homemade goodies will also be available to purchase.
